Many a roaster around the globe has emulated the Mocha Java blend style, which has its origins in a 17th century chance 'collision' of the world's first two commercially exported coffee beans. Our version, Collider, juxtaposes bright berry with deep chocolate, using washed and natural process origins from three continents.
Inspired by Paradox, and as part of our 1% For The Planet commitment, we’ve been donating towards WeForest. They work across Ethiopia to reverse land degradation and support forest friendly livelihoods. We’re also proud to be supporters of World Coffee Research, Greenfleet, and other blend inspired causes.
Not only speaks to the origins of the Mocha Java blend, the 'collision' of the 2 first commercially traded coffees, but also the flavour collision of bright berry and deep chocolate. We’ve also been able to trademark the name, so there’ll be no confusion in the future with other coffee in market.
